How much is a gallon of heating oil?

The Oil Co-op negotiates pricing on behalf of the membership. The price fluctuates based on the daily wholesale price. We have secured extremely competitive prices for our members through long term contracts with local oil dealers. Who can join the Citizen’s Oil Co-op?

Eligibility

The benefits of the Oil Co-op can be enjoyed by any heating oil consumer. We currently serve all of Connecticut for our heating oil program.  Local oil companies may require credit references / checks before they deliver.

Do you have service contracts available?

Burner and Emergency Service

All of the oil companies working with Citizen’s Oil Co-op are full-service companies with their own licensed technicians. Comprehensive service contracts are offered by each company at competitive prices. Service for oil fired water heaters and central air conditioning is also available as well as new installation.
